A couple of weeks ago, I sent out a request for help in solving a
rather irritating occurance on my mailing list (ADND-L).  Basically,
subscriptions are being 'lost'.  By this, I mean that they disappear
from the list without any notifications being sent and no entries
showing up in the LISTSERV log files.  We are currently using
LISTSERV version 1.8b.
 
This has been happening for several months, but there was a massive
surge of them about a month ago, which I expect is tied to a file
attachment someone sent to the list.
 
Based on some feedback I received from my earlier LSTOWN-L post, I
added the 'Confirm' option to the Subscription keyword and set up the
Confirm-Delay as shown below.
 
In any event, here's the current list keywords/options.  If anyone
can shed any light on this problem and/or let me know of any sort of
fix for it, I would appreciate it.
