Folks,

I and another former alum manage two lists on behalf of my highschool, with
some 1500 names on one list, and a small subset of this on as another lists
with about 150 names. Our list is hosted at Whathelps.com, a listserv service.

I am my co-manager are relative novices and have not mastered the mechanics
of probing, etc.  When an infrequent message goes out on the main list, I get
about 150 error msgs.  We get about 20 on the sublist.

Fortunately, these lists are not that active, the main one has about 2 msgs a
month, the sub has about 4 per week. The error msgs all having to do with
email address problems.  The obvious ones (for example, box over quota) are not
an issue.

But we don't seem to be able to master having the listserv eventually delete
addresses that are dead.

Any advice would be welcome - example below for a list named ECOLINT.

Stan
