Hi folks:

Does anyone know a way to set up a list so that e-mail sent to it by
non-subscribers will get the acknowledgement message "Your message to
LISTNAME has been sent..." but the subscribers will not get that
message?

We have a list that is restricted to sending by those on the list but
also includes those on another authorization list:

* Send= Private,(AUTH-LIST)

What I'd like to do is give some feedback to the nonsubscribing posters
that their message was distributed. I realize that I could probably
effect this by doing this:

* Default-Options= Repro,Ack

And then after I subbed anyone to the main list (it's not open to
subscription), I would then set them to REPRO NOACK, but that's pretty
clunky.

Is there another wayto configure the list, using logic like either "ACK
if on AUTH-LIST" or "ACK if not subscribed"?
