Eric:
No need to get the hackles up. Yes, it appears Kevin missed the error
report. However, his Owner Digest looks like a really good idea. I delete
over 100 messages a day: >LAWSCH-L: error report from AMERICAN.EDU< Check
the email address (it's probably one I've seen before) and delete. Automatic
killfiling doesn't help, since I still have to download them all.
Recently, I had two brushes with mailers that had the retry set for two
weeks (!). Two weeks worth of repeats for a moderate volume list times two.
An owner digest would have meant that the digest I download anyway would
have been just a little longer.
 
Again, if you're keeping track, I emphatically vote FOR  this type of
capability in a future release of LISTSERV.
