   Nonsense.  What is illegitimate about doing that....aren't there others
who subscribe and then conceal?  And even nomail?  Unless you vet your list
(as is the case on some scholarly lists, that expect a resume'), then
you have no argument.  YOU let the person on, either explicitly, or by
default of not reviewing them.
