Thank you to everyone who offered advice on my question,
both via the list and privately.  My list IS set for
Reply-To=list,respect.  I AM using RiceMail.  And the
person who sent the item for posting DID add a separate
"Reply-To:" field.  Maybe my reader has a strange mailer.
 
Anyway, I've learned a lot (thanks) and have filed away all
the comments for the day when another survey comes to be
posted.  Will the system have chnaged by then?   :-)
