Ok, I admit it, I assumed the current archive search program was pretty
much like the old one on VM. I had noted that couldn't trust an
implicit AND (works lots of times, but not always) as in
s term1 term2 in listname
implicitly means
s term1 and trem2 in listname

I broke down and read the new database memo as my more complex searches
weren't working (I usually keep my searches pretty simple, so hadn't
ever noticed a lot of the changes). So, now it is NEAR which is implicit
ranther than AND. I don't see that the daatabase memo give a definition
of NEAR. I know it doesn't mean "in the same posting" so how is it
defined? Same sentence? Within so many lines? Within so many characters?
How near is NEAR?

Next question. There is an example of using a keyword
 "WHERE PRICE IS < 50"
Can't use price or > or < as keywords in AUTOCAT and in the example it
talks of a keyword index so I assume such things must be explicitly
installed. Is that correct? If so, how?
