Just wanted to clarify my previous post:

I would like to automatically create usernames and passwords that the users
provide to us on registration.  As an administrator, I though that I could
do that.

>I used the following command to add a new password to listserv from the
admin email:
>PWC ADD [log in to unmask] nelly pw=12345                  (pw=the listserv admin password)

>I got the following error message from Listserv:

> PWC ADD [log in to unmask] nelly
>Invalid  password  supplied. Acceptable  passwords  are:  the list
creation
>password ("createpw") and the system file modification password
("storepw").

>Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? What does the above message
mean?
