Yes, pretty limited indeed, only IE users are affected. Technically speaking
you're right.

But what percentage of the average lists's subscribers do you think ARE
actually IE users? 50%? 90%?

And though it may be Microsoft's problem, this implies that it is the
problem of the majority of LISTSERV subscribers.

Whose problem is it when your subscribers leave your list because they
repeatedly receive viruses through it?

It may be worth pointing out that there's a pretty limited range of
systems that are vulnerable here -- and I'd suggest that this is
Micro$oft's problem, not LISTSERV's.  (Yes, I understand that there's
a risk for users of IE 5.5, but I don't see why this is particularly
relevant to LISTSERV.)
