There is nothing recent about it.  The term is UNTIL but I use TO as it
means the same and takes less space.  By the same token I use FROM rather
than SINCE and I always abbreviate SEARCH to S
s whatever in listname to yy/mm/dd

And remember you can drop leading zeroes in dates, today is 1/11/24.
Anything to save space is to the good, and saves keystrokes, like don't
use single quotes unless you must.
