we'll check these settings immediately, but that's not enough.
We are looking for a possibility to remove the address information,
in order to avoid, that someone uses the addresses of our
community for abusive purposes.

If you have not already,

step 1) -- update your list definition:

REVIEW= OWNER

step 2) --

NOTEBOOK= NO

i.e., NO archives

step 3) see if any of these abused addresses are SEARCHABLE via well
known spiders e.g., GOOGLE.

step 4) ???
