Greetings LISTOWN'ers,

I wonder if someone could help me out or point me to an appropriate
reference for decoding LISTSERV1.8b-style LIST files.

My goal is to count the number of people who are subscribed to certain
TOPICS, or who are set to NOMAIL, for example.

I'm pretty sure all of this is encoded in the right-most fields of the
following example lines:

[log in to unmask] Herbert H. Curkin, Anne Arundel C.C. 1AACSICx6A//
[log in to unmask] Dale Gough,AACRAO 1AACSACx6AAC

but am completely at a loss how to decode them. I did run across some
documentation that partly described these fields for a past version of
LISTSERV, but it didn't really help...

Thanks for your assistance,
Craig
