Hi all,

I am a bit new to this. A friend has been gracious enough to let me have one
of his lists to handle. I am getting the feel for it, but came across this
in Chapter 5.6 List-Keyword Recommendations in the LISTSERV Tips Manual.

Can someone help me out with just what a remote user is??? Are we talking
about traveling laptops checking in at hotels or something and deciding to
sign on/off??

WARNING: Unfortunately, VALIDATE=ALL COMMANDS prevents remote users from
signing off a list. If, on the other hand, you want to restrict who can
sign up for a list, yet allow users to unsubscribe, use VALIDATE= STORE
ONLY in conjunction with SUBSCRIPTION= BY_OWNER.
