As a long-time list user and medium-time list owner, I've seen a lot...
but I've never seen the following:
> Date: Wed, 1 Oct 1997 00:00:12 -0400
> Sender: PHOTOSHP -- Adobe PhotoShop Discussion List <[log in to unmask]>
> From: Automatic digest processor <[log in to unmask]>
> Subject: PHOTOSHP Digest - <first ever> to 30 Sep 1997
N.B. This is *not* the first-ever PHOTOSHP digest! What could have
caused the start date to be lost?
While on the subject of subject lines, I recall a question here recently
that I don't recall any discussion on. Will there ever be an listserv
option to label digests as "Volume 5, Issue 61" or "1997 #115" or just
"October 1, 1997" (or whatever) in addition to the current "LISTNAME
Digest - 29 Sep 1997 to 30 Sep 1997" ?
