Just change your list header to read  Notify= No
and you won't get the messages, or you can put in a specific address
and direct them to another address if you like.
 
Listowners who use the Notify=   keyword use it for different purposes:
monitor the sub/unsub trafffic for a feel of what people like/don't like,
keep an eye out for someone setting up a potential spam operation, etc.
