If you have a list that that's set to validate=yes, confirm (or
validate=all, confirm) and you send it a command with a password included,
and your password has been lost or corrupted, what will happen? Will the
server act as if you never sent a password in the first place and send a
confirmation request?

What if your list is set to validate=yes, confirm, nopw or
validate=all, confirm, nopw? Do you get a message saying your password is
not legit and that you need to use PW RESET and then PW ADD to get a new one?

Is there any way to tell if one's password has gotten corrupted or forgotten?
Or do you just have to recognize that in certain situations your password
should be working but isn't and that something must be wrong with it?

Thanks.
