Hi all,

I run a private discussion list. How do I prevent subscribers from
changing their e-mail address or name without listowner assistance?
(Listowner notification of the change would be acceptable, but less ideal.)

I'm relatively new to listserv. I'm trying to port my 1700 subscriber
discussion list from listproc to two listserv lists (split between a 1.8c
and a 1.8d site).

If subscribers can change their addresses and names, I lose control of who
is on the list and I can't track subscriber payments (I need to pass the
site hosting costs on to users). It is important that users be able to
change digest, nomail, header options, etc. without owner intervention.

So...how do I disable the ability of subscribers to change their name and
e-mail address? [Do people out there consider a default private list that
allows users to change their electronic identity to be secure?]

Thanks!
