I have checked the list archives, and am hoping that advances have
been made in the ListServ software to catch forged mail.

I have just discovered how easy it appears to be to get mail onto a
list - apparently, all that is needed is to know the listname and a
valid subscribed address plus an email program that allows you to
change from/reply-to info.

Is there anyway to stop forged messages from making it to the list
(other than moderating and verifying received-from headers)??
