It is normal behaviour, it helps LISTSERV to more efficiently sort mail
bound for the same host in any given mailing.  However everything to the
right of the "@" sign is supposed to be case-insensitive per standard,
so if the EDS server is rejecting mail based on the case of the hostname,
then the EDS server is not compliant and should be fixed.
