There are at least a couple of documents available on database searches.
First is Eric's, which should be available from any listwerv with
 
INDEX DATABASE
 
and listowners really should read it (and Eric's other documents also).
 
There is also Mr. Bailey's step by step guide which can be had fron his
filelist for PACS-L (I'm working off the top of my head here, so if I get
something wrong please say so).
