This brings to mind 2 feature requests I've been mulling over for some
time.
First, and probably easiest, I'd like to see previous-in-search, next-in-
search and back-to-search-results-page hyperlinks on pages when
displayed from a search result. The idea is to make it easy to scan a
list of "hits" w/o bouncing back and forth between the results page and
hit pages.
Also, I'd like to see the search results page tailorable in a way slightly
different from other page tailorings. That is, allow multiple "looks" for
the search page. The idea is to support requests such as I perceive
the original question in this thread. I'd like to be able to build a web
page that could "present" a slide-show of listserv posting pages. One
way to accomplish this would be to simply alter the first request above
to include some sort of drop-in navigation. Other methods could be
just as useful or better.
Of these two suggestions, I view the former as most important,
valuable to the most people and best development-dollar value.
cheers, wayne
