Listserv mailing list names are at most 8 characters in length, on some
systems. Yet, I have heard there is an alias mechanism to have a 2nd
longer name that is then somehow associated with the shorter name. Either
name can be used by subscribers.

Is this true, and if so how is it set up? I am not an expert at all, so
please give me the details... For example, if I wanted my mailing list
'Prostate' (8 characters) to have an alias of Prostate-Cancer, how might
that be done?

Thanks... I really appreciate any help that is given.

Kevin
