I am a member of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. I don't know if
you are familiar with them or not. They are an organization of highly
dedicated individuals that take action against the people and countries that
are doing damage to the World's oceans. They target the people that are in
violation of international law or treaties and directly confront them on land
and in the ocean. They have been an integral part in the fight to save
whales, Harp seals, dolphins and many other ocean creatures. The Sea
Shepherds also play a big role in educating people about the impact they have
on their environment. They are a non-profit organization.

I have started a Mailing List of people who believe in and support the
actions of the Sea Shepherds. The network, at this stage, amounts to a news
and information distribution source about the Sea Shepherds and numerous
related issues. So far, I have members in 5 countries including the United
States. I currently have distribution routes to several major newspapers and
newsletters, university radio and television programs, National Public Radio
and of course, numerous Internet, FidoNet and BitNet mailing lists. My
problem is as follows. I am running this list through the America Online
e-mail utility and I have begun to tax the ability of this system. This is
where I need you help. I need to find someone who can help me set up a
mailing list through one of the bigger, direct Internet mainframe computers.
It doesn't matter whether it is a Listserver computer program or not, I
simply need to find a way to run this list on a "professional" mailing list
server. I would like to develop the ability to have a bi-directional feed
from and to the subscribers. Is there any way that I can be set up for such a
service. Of course, I will do as much of the work as possible and will
maintain the list on a day-to-day basis.

Any help that you could give me would be much appreciated. I am adding
members at a rate of 3-5 per day, and will not be able to maintain the list
at this pace for much longer. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Nick Voth,
