     Neither works, for *me*, at least.  I entered "lsvput nausicaa"
first, then tried "lsvput nausicaa list."  The second time, I got a
message that read:
 
PUT NAUSICAA LIST PW=<___>
File "NAUSICAA LIST A1" has been sent to LISTSERV at BROWNVM.
 
     A little later on, I received the following e-mail:

From:         Revised List Processor (1.7c) <[log in to unmask]>
Subject:      Command: PUT NAUSICAA LIST
To:           "Steven Feldman, list administrator" <[log in to unmask]>
 
The replacement file you sent had been obtained by a REVIEW command. Please
use the GET command instead.
PUT operation rejected, old list remains unchanged.

     The thing is, I don't want to send a copy of the list of subscribers
to listserv, so this command isn't doing what I want it to.

     Unfortunately, no.
     Also, every time I use LSVPUT, my password shows up on the screen.
Is there any way I can change things so that it no longer does so?
