something wrong with BELLATLANTIC.NET and sprint.ca??

On one list, some people [aol.com and oakharbor.net/pioneernet.net] are getting
duplicates of posts from sprint.ca and bellatlantic.net .. that list isn't archived, so I
can't look at each post there,

But on another list .. since Jan 31st the following has been in the header of archived
posts from a subscriber using bellatlantic.net:

Comments: RFC822 error: <W> MESSAGE-ID field duplicated. Last
occurrence was retained.

Before then that error wasn't there.. but is on all posts after. I don't know if any are
getting duplicates on that list.

could it be that sprint.ca and bellatlantic.net is causing these duplicates .. and that all
but IPS like aol and oakharbor.net/pioneernet.net are able to deal with it by not giving
duplicates of these posts?

And what can be done???
