From the v16 GUI post window, a user attempted to send >40 Mb in attachments to hundreds of recipients. Fortunately it "disappeared".. Without a trace..

Are there message size limits system wide?

Should there be a default for all lists, but no "real" limit?

If not, where's the best place to throttle message size? 

Mail servers (exchange, Gmail ) impose limits, but it seems there may not be limits for posts originating from the GUI..
