I don't find the need to monitor it enough to bother with any "cool tools" since the box just plain does the job it was designed to do, and I don't have to worry about it.  We use LISTSERV(tm) Classic and LSMTP on a 300mhz box with NT4 sp6a.  I go look now and then to see which destinations are not getting delivered, with 'lscp sh q /s' but that's about all there is to do - everything else just happens like magic, almost, and sites that aren't getting delivered aren't the fault of our box anyway, either.
