I started moderating my list a week ago, and have noticed several messages
appearing on it without having been forwarded (or seen) by me first.
An example is below.  The messages seem to have the common characteristic
that the sender is ecology%emuvm1.bitnet.  Why would these be able to bypass
the normal moderation process??
