G'day,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem.... I'm unable to get
confirmations from the list to my administrative commands.... This problem
started about 3 weeks ago to the best of my knowledge...

Here's the situation:

I've owned a list sponsored by St. Johns for nearly two years.

I recently changed virtual server hosts. My e-mail server is running
Ipswitch "imail" v4.0+. I believe it's been upgraded to the most recent
version.

Subscriptions are set to owner(s):

I send an ADD command.... I receive the "Command Confirmation Request" back
from the list.... I then reply-to that message with "OK" in the body....
Send it back to the list.... and nothing....

I was suggested by St. Johns that my e-mail envelope wasn't RFC822
compliant. In as much as I'm not privy to this I have no way of determining
this. My virtual server host is looking into the matter.

The fact that the "command confirmation request" is getting back to me from
the initial attempt tells me that the listserv is seeing my correct e-mail
address... More importantly the listserv is executing my commands when I
send the "Ok" back. Hence, I have to assume again that my reply-to/from
address is being picked up correctly. However, I receive no confirmation
whatsoever. This does become a problem when I need to send any "QUIET"
commands. I have no way of telling if the command is being properly executed.

Next, comes any other command I send.. For example, REVIEW, QUERY, etc. I
send the command and receive absolutely nothing back.

Temporarily I'm utilizing two ISP's. I have sent the ADD command and CC'ed
it to each of the to ISP accounts to see if any differences in the header
could be found. I see nothing. I would be willing to share those header's
if someone would like to see them.

If anyone has an idea of how to relieve this problem I would be eternally
grateful.

Thanks...

Randy Vess
