I maintain a list called [log in to unmask] (via LISTSERV v1.7f). Several
people sometime send a reply to the list which looks like this (notice the
space between ">" and the header field):

> From: blah
> To: Blah
> Subj: Subject

Listserv then sends the message to myself since I'm the "Errors-To:" person
stating "...header fields in body of text....." or something similar. No
problem, but I decide to inform everyone on the list to keep error messages
down. So, I tell people to take out the space between the > and header field
and it should work fine (which it does).

>From: Blah
>To: Blah
>Subj: subject

Now I have people stating "....defacto standard is to have "> " for messages.
Listserv must be broke....should parse something else...blah blah."

*I* don't think that LISTSERV is broke at all, but have no idea why it parses
the way it does. So, could someone explain to me why Listserv doesn't like the
"> From:" entry and does like ">From:"?

Thanks in advance.
