I received a message on my test yahoo account, the same message we sent
out over a month ago.   How do I check send mail? Is there a particular
problem with send mail I should be looking for?  What version should I
be running?

A couple of weeks ago.. we rebooted the server because send mail was
hanging.  I really appreciate any help you can offer .

Are you *sure* that it was LISTSERV queue that re-sent the messages, or
was it a SENDMAIL problem?

In the simple case of a user sending mail to a list:

user -> user_mail_client -> LISTSERV_mail_server -> LISTSERV ->
LISTSERV_mail_client -> subscribers_mail_servers
