One of the lists on the server I administer is having intermitant failures in
the distribution of digests to some of its subscribers.  Regular subscribers
are fine, but in the last month the digest has only been sent out a handfull of
times:
 
20 Apr 1996 00:00:00 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
24 Apr 1996 00:01:02 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
27 Apr 1996 00:03:58 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
30 Apr 1996 00:03:40 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
7 May 1996 00:00:30 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
8 May 1996 00:01:29 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
9 May 1996 00:04:57 GNNHOST-L digest is being distributed...
 
Before the 20th of April it was being sent out daily, since then, only these 7
times.
 
I got and replaced his headers with an explicit * Digest line:
 
* Digest=               Yes,Same,Daily,22,800
 
Yesterday, but this appears to have had no effect.  There is a digest building
in his directory:
 
ls -l gnnhost-l.digest
-rw-r--r--   1 listserv other      23680 May 21 11:06 gnnhost-l.digest
services.web.aol.com# wc !$
wc gnnhost-l.digest
     619    3714   23680 gnnhost-l.digest
 
I do not remember changing anything to do with digests when I installed the
software, so it should be sending digests out daily.
