LISTSERV will not rewrite the From: line of a message, which most mail
programs use to show who the message came from.
 
If you are using ver 1.8c of LISTSERV, then it is possible to have your
listname appear in the Subject: line of msgs.
 
For example the line above on my system: Re: [LSTOWN-L] Message Header
 
You must send the command      SET listname SUBJECTHDR
to your List Command Address:  LISTSERV@your_host
 
As owner you can do this for all subscribers:
  SET listname SUBJECTHDR FOR *@*
 
You should also put this is your list Header file:
 * Default-Options= SubjectHdr
 
If you want a shorter listname-tag then put this in your Heade file:
 * Subject-Tag= short_name
(Do not put [] brackets, LISTERV will add these for you).
