My ISP installed some virtual domain software a few days ago, and all mail
from LISTSERV began bouncing because the broken software was case sensitive
in the domain. Maybe I'm picky, but it seems to me folks ought to know
enough about RFC822 to know this is verboten BEFORE they write code.

I tried to add an alternate owner address via the web interface so I could
see what was happening, misplaced my password, asked for a new one -- and of
course LISTSERV sent the confirmation to the address that was bouncing mail.

Catch-22.
