Actually,  * Validate= yes,confirm is slightly better since if you don't already
have a registered password, LISTSERV will send you a Confirm Request instead of
a rejection notice.  Note that with spoofed addresses the rejection/confirm
message goes to the spoofed address, not back to the spoofer, so the person
being removed will be informed that something is up.
