Sometimes a potential subscriber asks me for a description of my list,
and rather than telling them to take the extra step of sending INFO <listname>
I will send them info myself by sending GIVE <info-filename> [log in to unmask]
 
But with this set up, every time I might alter the info file I've
written, I must also separately alter the MAILTPL file for the INFO template.
 
I wish that MAILTPL templates could imbed text from external files on
the Listserv rather than only from other segments within the MAILTPL file.
That is, I wish that .im or some similar command could import text from a
file such as FILENAME FILETYPE LISTNAME.  That way, I could just update
the filename, and know that by that same step I have also in effect updated
the MAILTPL template (if it refers to that file via .im or whatever).  In
addition to INFO, this might also be useful for a questionnaire within ADDREQ1.
