Does LISTSERV keep/provide any statistics/logs/records on Database SEARCHes
and on GET logxxxxx requests? If so, how do I obtain them?
 
I found myself in a discussion today about the merits of archives for
discussion lists. The person not supporting the maintenance of logs
(and databases of them) argues that while a great percentage of discussion
lists maintain logs/databases, they are extremely rarely used. While he
may not have well-studied data to back up his claim, I was without
information (except personal experience) to argue to the contrary.
 
Stats, anyone?
