I'm going to make a one-time crosspost for the benefit of those souls
who didn't bother to keep a copy of the signup message when they joined
the list and now don't seem to know how to sign <off> the list.  Of
course one could always check the General User's Guide to LISTSERV
which is online at http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/index.html if one had
misplaced the signup message.

Send email to [log in to unmask] with the following line in the body
(not the subject):

SIGNOFF LSTSRV-L

or

SIGNOFF LSTOWN-L

(whichever of the two lists you are subscribed to).  Don't put your
email address after the name of the list.  Do it just like it's shown.

If you get a message back saying that you aren't subscribed to the list,
write to [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]
(again, depending on which list you are getting mail from) and the list
owners will try to help you.
