Thanks for your response Pete.  At this point I am experimenting with
the auto-delete tool on one list and I will see what happens.  I
standardize all of my list headers to keep things simple.  I am afraid
that with the nature of the nodes that I deal with that alot of the
subscribers will be deleted by Monday or Tuesday.  If too many users are
removed then what good is the list?   I am actively pursuing the
postmasters at these nodes to see if I can get things flowing better,
but I'm not sure it will happen.   One bounce can generate 50 retries
during the course of 3 or 4 days. It seems that over the weekend alot of
the nodes are shut down for some reason and the system keeps trying to
send.  The manual recommends less than 7 for the Delay so do you think I
should try 5 or 6 instead of 4?
