You can eliminate the HTML issue and reduce the frustration level
of subscribers whose email clients are not HTML-aware by adding the
following statement to the list header.

* Language= NoHTML

If the sender of a message used almost any HTML-aware email client
other than Eudora, the "package" received by LISTSERV will contain
two copies of the message text, separated by MIME headers. One copy
will be plain text, the other will be HTML-ized. This keyword setting
causes LISTSERV to remove the MIME attachment containing the HTML
from the message before processing.

If the sender used Eudora, there will be only one copy of the text, with
embedded HTML. Consequently, the HTML will not (cannot) be removed by
LISTSERV.

I don't know whether SIZELIM is checked before the HTML attachment is
removed, or after. Since it could make a difference in whether a given
message is accepted or rejected, it should (imo) be checked after the
attachment is removed.

Caveat: If the purpose of your list is to showcase the HTML skills
of the subscribers, you probably don't want to use this setting.
