Two questions:

1. Recently (due in part to some recent advice on this list), I set the various lists I run to block attachments entirely. However, this has caused some minor concern with some subscribers, particularly those on our GroupWise who use "vcards" (signature files).

Quoting from the 1.8d owner's manual:

"It is also possible to allow certain MIME types to be passed through to the list while rejecting or filtering all others. For instance,

Attachments= image,application/*msword"

I couldn't find any listing of descriptors for other file types (please feel free to point me to it in the manual if it is there). How, for example, would I allow those vcard attachments as well as Word files? If I want to block every kind of attachment EXCEPT for Word files and vcards, do I delete [image,] from the above?

2. Is there an easy way for someone posting to a list (i.e. command at the beginning of the post) to keep that particular post from going to the archive? Again, if this is in the manual, please feel free to point me to the appropriate section.

Thanks!
