Logically, the Swedish equivalent of "Subject:" is "Amne:", and in the
"Amne:" field these clever programmers would be welcome to use "Sv:". But
in fact they use "Subject:" so that their software can interoperate with
foreign products. When displaying the message, they put the contents of
"Subject:" in a field or column called "Amne". This is exactly what they
should be doing for "Re:" and "Sv:". When Svensson participates in an
international (English) list hosted in Turkey, "Sv:" is guaranteed to
break threads in just about everyone's mail program and in the web
interface...
