The LISTERV owner's manual states: "LISTSERV first skips any
possible sequence of 'Re:' keywords ...", in describing how
LISTSERV handles messages posted to lists with the TOPICS
keyword.

Does LISTSERV (for WNT) skip forms of 'Re:' such as this:

Subject: Re[2]: MYTOPIC: What's the problem ?

I.e., some email programs add a counter to the "Re"ply word
in the Subject line, so it's no longer "Re:" but Re[n]:" for
some arbitrary "n". (Other programs just retain just the
original Re:, and yet others string out Re: Re: .... Sigh!)

AGAIN,
How does LISTSERV handle the Re[n]: form? In particular,
does it treat it the Subject line as not containing any
TOPIC (or alternatively, as containing at least one
undefined topic), and forward the message to the "OTHER"
topic subscribers?
