Yes they can.  But you cannot use a filter like *@aol.com  That is what the
statement means.  You can use it like this  *[log in to unmask]  or like *WIN-95*@*
where the '*' substitutes for an arbitrary number of characters, but you
must specify some part of the user side of the [log in to unmask]
