Tried that earlier and got:
 
File  "PMAIL LOGyymm" removed from filelist but still present on disk
File  "PMAIL LOGyymm" removed from filelist but still present on disk
File  "PMAIL LOGyymm" removed from filelist but still present on disk
File  "PMAIL LOGyymm" removed from filelist but still present on disk
File  "PMAIL LOGyymm" removed from filelist but still present on disk
PUT command rejected.
 
.....where yymm were all the log files.
 
(sigh) Next suggestion?  :-)
