Somebody just posted (or tried to, there was a screwup in their
headers) to my lists that I had resigned my position as listowner (which
I certainly did not such thing).  It "appears" that somebody tried to
spoof their way into the mailer.
 
Now, two things:
        1)  I have a filter list with postmast*@*
        2)  There is no send=public in my headers
 
Yet, the mailing still got through.
 
so:
        A)  is the filter line not correct
        B)  does it need to be, perhaps, send=private

I am including a copy of the headers of the message that appeared to be
spoofed and a copy of the list settings for that list.
