They probably paid for it.  Some countries sell their name space.  Take
Tongo for example (.to).  How many sites do you know of that are:
http://www.go.to/sitename???  I have seen LOTS.  Technically, I think they
are supposed to keep it in the country, but, I suppose, money talks.
