That was not my point. Of course a 3000 lines file takes longer to read
than a file of 1000 lines, but three files of 1000 lines (arriving at the
same time, give or take a couple minutes) don't buy you anything over a
file of 3000. The end user isn't gaining anything from having the thing
split into three files. His broken mail system might be fooled into not
rejecting the file because it is sent in smaller pieces, but to a user
with a decent mail system there is no benefit.
