It's happening because the recipient address are bouncing mail back to
owner-listname, which is the proper address for list mail delivery errors.

The autodeletion will be due to the autodelete program.  It seems that you
flat do not want that program.  GET your list header.  Change
* Auto-delete= Yes
 to
* Auto-delete= No

and PUT the changed list header.  You will then get to deal with all the
error messages personally.  Have fun.
