Michael is correct here. The mail RFC (822?) defines the seperator
between the body and the signature as a seperate line containing:
"-- "
i.e. dash, dash, space, newline
Some mailers (such as the unix shell mailer I am using here) add this
line automagically for me. Others (such as M$'s Outlook Express), don't
and I have manually included it in my signature file.
I am not sure, but I think that Listserv recognizes this and will ignore
a signature that follows it in a command to the listserv address.
